LinkedIn is a great platform to reach potential employees or business partners. Because of that, it's not like the other platforms where it is more "social" rather than "professional." That's why LinkedIn has to be used differently and doesn't work the same as the other platforms.
Again, that doesn't diminish LinkedIn's value in the social media universe.
LinkedIn, as mentioned previously, is viewed as a professional connections site. Therefore, far less of those internet trolls hover on LinkedIn, making it a place for more civil conversations and connections, without any drama.
